Keratosed Aka Chicken Skin
A non-cancerous skin condition that appears as a waxy brown, black or tan growth.
A seborrhoeic keratosis is one of the most common non-cancerous skin growths in older adults. While it is possible for one to appear on its own, multiple growths are more common.
Seborrheic keratosis often appears on the face, chest, shoulders or back. It has a waxy, scaly, slightly elevated appearance.
Causes are mainly waxing or shaving, or hairs caught under the glue-like debris on the skin that has not been exfoliated and builds up trapping hair. Excessive use of conditioners is a concern too in this skin condition.
Greatly helped by use of body gel, hydrabrasion micro dermabrasion peels and laser genesis
